Dr.kandeh yumkella is a man of energy to bring Sierra Leone in the twenty first century community of nations, he knows the development of any nation start with food security, energy and good government institutions that work for its people.
Dr.Yumkella  studied agriculture  he knows full well the importance and benefit of farming in  any country to its people and how it will help the citizens afford cheap food, he knows how to build  better farming institutions for the country if given the chance.Dr Yumkella will go all out to bring power to every Sierra Leonean  regardless who they are or where they live, for the past years he is been travelling the world trying to help people in different parts of the world and that's what he will do for the country he so loved dearly, energy at this day an age is part and parcel of development, be it in your house, school or hospital it is essential and it saves live.

Dr.Yumkella is one of the most trusted Africans in the world and his work and tenure speaks volumes about him, he has met and advised a lot of governments about energy and how it helps economies grow. Many countries  are comfortable with Dr.Yumkella,the way he knows and understand their needs and how he respond to it, some even called him(jokes) The United Nation President.

Dr.Kandeh Yumkella job put him in contact with all kind of people, young old rich poor famous diplomats and world leaders, he is humbled for that and every year he visit his home of Kychum at least four time. Almost in every speech he will recount his upbringing and how he is thankful to his people, his country and the people who helped him along the way to the journey he is at presently, he will tell his audience to get hope and courage in their endeavors no matter what.The institutions Sierra Leone is enjoying now, and are on the verge of collapse due to the lack of administrative knowledge and corruption by the Ernest Bai Koroma APC led administration  was built by President Ahmad Tejan Kabbah after his tenure at the United Nations(UN).with his knowledge and service in the United Nations Dr, Kandeh Yumkella is no stranger to administration and building working institutions,if giving the chance he will transform Sierra Leone, he will embark on food security, education,law and order, he will transform the judicial system to work for everyone, Dr.Yumkella will invest in road network, HealthCare system that's is affordable and sustainable energy for all. And most of all he will unite each and every Sierra Leone where the country will come together and develop the nation as one united country.

A RESPONSE TO AN ARTICLE IN THE GLOBAL TIMES WRITTEN BY A GHOST.

This is a response to the article published in the Global Times on line, written by an unidentified author titled Kandeh Yumkella, and the Flagbearership of SLPP. To the coward who wrote the article, I would first of all like to say thank you for officially exposing your narrow mindedness, and your obvious ignorance, of the tenets of our great SLPP party, which is One Country, One People, and an even greater ignorance of the SLPP Constitution, and the Sierra Leone National Constitution. The argument you present in your article “Kandeh Yumkella and the Flagbearership of SLPP” is condescending, grossly misguided, a travesty to the democratic process, and flawed at best.
