IF PRESIDENT KOROMA IS NOT A COWARD SYLVIA WILL BE INVESTIGATED OR THOSE WHO ACCUSED HER OF FOGERY SHOULD BE ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH LIBEL.





In the last few days there are news going around that Sylvia Blyden is been paid $5000.00 although she is not doing anything at this time, and she is not in good terms with President Ernest Bai Koroma who she is serving as special executive assistance (SEA),one would wonder why is she been paid forty nine times more than the average working Sierra Leonean? and why someone who is been accused of forgery by  the media still have access to the  state house and the President with no investigation or denial of the accusations by the state house?
Couple of months ago Sylvia Blyden was accused of writing a fake letter to the Ambassador of Kuwait to be included in the presidential entourage visa applications who was travelling to Kuwait for a summit, some media outlets even reported that the state chief of protocol at state house alerted banking institutions about a possible forgery of his signature. With all these accusation why is she near state house and why the President is mum and why we never heard about any investigations about her? but every now and then we will hear about detention of military men for illegal gathering,searching opposition offices and the detention of journalist for comparing the President to Rats. No one is immune for questioning for the sake of state security but witch hunt should not be a state tool against a legitimate critic.



Since Sylvia Blyden started working as special assistance to President Ernest Bai Koroma  we have seen a lot of embarrassing stories about the state house and the intimidations of political opponents and the use of colonial era laws to arrest and detain critics of the APC led government, reacting  to a newspaper article criticizing the government decision to dismiss senior military officers Sylvia Blyden said "No politician or so called journalist is going to be allowed to derail our national unity to serve their parochial objectives, we will ask for the greatest penalty to be applied,enough is enough.
When Sylvia Blyden wrote an article in 2009 with the title MISS ARABELLA FORAY ENTERS KAILAHUN WITH ARMED ESCORT AS "FIRST LADY "OF SIERRA LEONE, the Koroma government went after her it was not right then and that's how she felt then, so why it is right now?
I am not advocating the investigation of Sylvia Blyden because of her political affiliation but for sanity and rule of law, if the President is not a coward and he has nothing damaging that Sylvia has on him he should ask an independent institution to investigate all the allegations of his Special Assistance or come out and defend her but he should not just mum, these allegations are state crimes and not personal ones, it is the right for all Sierra Leoneans who are desired to know the truth.
If anything is libelous is accusing the special executive assistance of a President of forgery when is not true, but a disservice to a nation aiding and abetting a crime is not investigating an accusation made by a registered media outlet involving high ranking officials in a government.

A RESPONSE TO AN ARTICLE IN THE GLOBAL TIMES WRITTEN BY A GHOST.

This is a response to the article published in the Global Times on line, written by an unidentified author titled Kandeh Yumkella, and the Flagbearership of SLPP.
