Temporary Protected Status Registration Period Extended for Liberia, Guinea, Sierra Leone | USCIS

A RESPONSE TO AN ARTICLE IN THE GLOBAL TIMES WRITTEN BY A GHOST.

This is a response to the article published in the Global Times on line, written by an unidentified author titled Kandeh Yumkella, and the Flagbearership of SLPP. To the coward who wrote the article, I would first of all like to say thank you for officially exposing your narrow mindedness, and your obvious ignorance, of the tenets of our great SLPP party, which is One Country, One People, and an even greater ignorance of the SLPP Constitution, and the Sierra Leone National Constitution. The argument you present in your article “Kandeh Yumkella and the Flagbearership of SLPP” is condescending, grossly misguided, a travesty to the democratic process, and flawed at best. You start off by characterizing Dr. Yumkella as the “new kid on the block…looking down on the party,” and suggesting that his view is “the party needs him more than he needs the party.” These are clearly opinions that are not supported with facts, and opinions have no place in an objective analysis. Your characterizat...

THE ARREST OF POPULAR MONOLOGUE SHOW IS A PROXY WAR BETWEEN PRESIDENT KOROMA AND VICE PRESIDENT SAM SUMANA.

Image
BLOODY ERNEST BAI KOROMA. After the arrest of popular monolgue talk show host David Tam Bayoh, lot of people are begging for his release but I wonder if that is the right approach for justice and a good precedence for the judicial system Sierra Leone is building, when we have  lot of people in prison for lesser crimes than those Tam-Bayoh are accused of, subject to trial and conviction. First I will state here the arrest of Tam-Bayoh is illegal and the segment of the show that is the bases of his arrest does not justify in anyway shape or form of inciting violence, his detention is pure political and he should be released or the government are the one's who are inciting  violence. Tam-Bayoh and his civil right has been violated by the government of Sierra Leone for merely putting the vice president on his show who is been marginalized by the President and his APC party that is the only sin Tam-Bayoh committed. The APC party and the president ...

IS ERNEST BAI KOROMA BECOMING A DICTATOR LIKE SIAKA PROBYN STEVENS?

Image
APC DUSTING THEIR OLD EVIL PLAY BOOKS The election of Ernest koroma in 2007 as President of republic of Sierra Leone was a new day for the country and hope for the citizenry, but many were skeptical about the young democracy in the hands of APC as Sierra Leoneans always say "MONKEY NOR DAE LEF IN BLACK HAND "meaning APC will not adhere to the principles and tenets  of democracy. The skeptics were recalling the election of Siaka Stevens, how the country instead of moving forward as a democratic state that ushered in APC to power, became a  dictatorship government with coup plot allegations to round up people who they deemed threat to the APC led government, banning journalist closing media houses and arresting anyone who dissented in their actions, after they were comfortable with the suppression of the country they moved to kill democracy and instituted a one party system of government where their thugs were the order of the state.   TWO INN...

Brig for his contribution and responding to this national crisis. Much  appreciation is also extended to our President Ernest Koroma and all our national stake holders most of whom cannot be mentioned by name for leading this effort to contain this epidemic. As a partner in this endeavor, the Kandeh Kolleh Yumkella Movement (KKYM) understands the monumental task and magnitude of complexity in tackling this epidemic which brings to bear the continued appeal from Dr. Yumkella to get all hands on deck.  In KKY's recent statement of appeal and encouragement to the na...

SOME POLITICAL PARTIES IN SIERRA LEONE ARE NOTHING BUT A SCHEME.

Image
Close to the 2012 general election in Sierra Leone Mohamed Bangura of the UDM openly declare for Ernest Bai Koroma and the APC,but before that most people in the country believe Mohamed Bangura was not only and agent of political corruption but UDM was formed and sponsored by the  APC to give them leverage in election negotiations to get majority of parties on their side if need be.In most countries including Sierra Leone crooks who want to live freely of off the emotions of democracy form parties and use the political system to scheme their countries resources, most of these countries once a party is registered they are rewarded  with campaign resources at the expense of  the genuine and credible parties. Democracy is not measured by the number of parties a country can produce but by the credibility of the system that register those parties. The Sierra Leone parliament with the help of the political party  registrations and the constitutional...

IF PRESIDENT KOROMA IS NOT A COWARD SYLVIA WILL BE INVESTIGATED OR THOSE WHO ACCUSED HER OF FOGERY SHOULD BE ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH LIBEL.

Image
In the last few days there are news going around that Sylvia Blyden is been paid $5000.00 although she is not doing anything at this time, and she is not in good terms with President Ernest Bai Koroma who she is serving as special executive assistance (SEA),one would wonder why is she been paid forty nine times more than the average working Sierra Leonean? and why someone who is been accused of forgery by  the media still have access to the  state house and the President with no investigation or denial of the accusations by the state house? Couple of months ago Sylvia Blyden was accused of writing a fake letter to the Ambassador of Kuwait to be included in the presidential entourage visa applications who was travelling to Kuwait for a summit, some media outlets even reported that the state chief of protocol at state house alerted banking institutions about a possible forgery of his signature. With all these accusation why is she near state house and why th...

SIERRA LEONE APC GOVERNMENT IS USING COLONIAL ERA LAWS TO JAIL JOURNALISTS.

Image
To cover for their dictatorial ruling Sierra Leone government leaders are paging the colonial era laws to intimidate and jail journalist, the crime seditious libel was used by the British Crown to stifle political opponents and consolidate power in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. why is this law  so popular in Sierra Leone at the second term of President Ernest Koroma? one will wonder if this is the smoke and the fire is behind. The arrest of popular journalist of Monologue fame David Tam Bayoh is making Sierra Leoneans scratch their heads and coming to  terms with what is going on around them.

KOKOBEH A NEW RELEASE FROM EMMERSON STRIKE A NERVE ON THE APC.

Image
Kokobeh is a new release from Emmerson Bockarie which is making headlines in the Sierra Leone community not only because it is a music enjoyed by a lot of Sierra Leoneans but for the lyrics which is truth speaking to the condition of the country and the broken promises of the APC government. The APC lead government is so nervous they are bringing all their mouthpieces in media to counter attack the concern of Sierra Leoneans as a myth and is a narrative put out their by paid agents of the opposition party and un patriotic Sierra Leoneans. Kokobeh is like a dagger struck in the heart of the ruling APC government of Sierra Leone which has led to all out war against any critics of the Ernest Koroma APC led government spear headed by Kabs Kanu of Cocoriocko and who is representing Sierra Leone to the United Nations. Not only Kabs Kanu is leading the charge to defend his master and the corrupt ruling APC party but they are resorting to name calling.Kabs K...

EVIL TRIUMPHS WHEN GOOD PEOPLE DO NOTHING.

ONE COUNTRY.        There is no way we will ever accept an SLPP victory. We will protest, and we intend to protest violently, nothing will stop us protesting violently except an announcement that the APC has won the elections. If we don't get this result it means the elections was rigged and we are going to cause havoc in this country. These are words of the opposition leader Ernest Bai Koroma on June 13th,2007 in an interview before the first round elections. At the time the peace was so fragile but that does not deter Mr.Koroma and his party from such words. But to his credit he got his way and some ballots were disqualified that ultimately give him the presidency.         Due to ballot stuffing's,over voting, host of other election malpractices and possible election fraud by some NEC members and the ruling party APC members on November 17th,the SLPP, Maada Bio  and all peaceful Sierra Leoneans are demanding fairne...

THE ELECTION WAS PEACEFUL BUT NOT FREE AND FAIR AND 2007 SHOULD BE A PRECEDENT

Image
BALLOT BOX.           I will first congratulate all Sierra Leoneans for the November 17th elections for showing the whole world that the only thing the country need is better institutions, although the election was peaceful but it was not free and fair in totality. When it come to light all should demand justice, and to hold those who are responsible for tainting the good effort of Sierra Leoneans.           According to sources in Freetown there were a lot of election malpractices and intimidation's especially in the north, western area and Kono.In the northern province village elders were called by the APC leaders and warned they will bear the wrath of the party if they were to lose in there areas of their leadership. In some areas in the north actual registered voters will go to their polling stations to find out they already voted, and they have no cause to complain since these p...

WHY ALL THESE NIGERIAN POLITICIANS COMING TO SIERRA LEONE CLOSE TO THE ELECTIONS ARE THEY SMELLING A DEFEAT FOR ERNEST KOROMA?

Image
OBASSANJO OF NIGERIA.        Today  the  former President of Nigeria Olusegun Obassanjo is in Sierra Leone  and he is attending a rally in Kabala with the APC,pictures are out there showing the former Nigerian president received by Sylvia Blyden and according to the media they are heading to Kabala on board a helicopter. Some are saying this is a mere State visit by the Mr.Obassanjo, but i beg to defer this close to an election and going to political rally is not only interfering with the elections in Sierra Leone but trying to influence it outcome. This is happening just  days after the sitting President of Nigeria left Sierra Leone,is one thing for a President to visit his fellow president but is another thing for a former president and a lobbyist to visit and attend a political rally. PRESIDENT GOODLUCK.        Sierra Leone is indebted to Nigeria a deal since they help to fight the rebel war,but this do...
