Fellow Slppers,
President Kabba is not alive today to defend himself in the face of consistent attacks by Sam Zoker as a tribal hegemonist. Good people, nothing could be further from the truth. Below is a list of some of the appointments that President Kabba made from the South and East. They are some of the most lucrative appointments in any administration.
1. Albert Joe Demby- Vice President (South)
2. Solomon Berewa-Vice President (South)
3.John Benjamin-Minister of Finance (East)
4. Sama Banya-Minister of Foreign Affairs
5. J. B. Dauda
6. Momodu Koroma-Foreign Affairs (South)
7. Harry Will-Agriculture
8. D.B Quee- Local government
9. Prince Harding-Mines/ Transport(South)
10.-Kanja Sesay-Nacsa (South)
11. J.D Rogers -Bank Governor(South)
12. John Karimu- Commissioner NRA-East
13. A.A. Koroma- Parliamentary Affairs- East
14. Lawrence Kamara-Marine Resources-South
15. Shirley Gbujama-Foreign Minister-South
Good people, where is the sectionalism and or tribalism here? Kabba was the most magnanimous leader Sierra Leone has ever had. Please help me talk to Sam Zoker to stop his message of tribal hatred and calumny. President Kabba was never a tribal chauvinist/hegemonist as the above list shows. These are just some of the names I conjured out of my mind and names do not even include the numerous ambassadorial and diplomatic appointments Pa Kabba made from the South and East, but prepared to do the research to show all appointees of Pa Kabba and their regions.
Kind regards,
Foday Daboh

The argument you present in your article “Kandeh Yumkella and the Flagbearership of SLPP” is condescending, grossly misguided, a travesty to the democratic process, and flawed at best. You start off by characterizing Dr. Yumkella as the “new kid on the block…looking down on the party,” and suggesting that his view is “the party needs him more than he needs the party.” These are clearly opinions that are not supported with facts, and opinions have no place in an objective analysis. Your characterizat...
