ACTION MANO RIVER UNION.

           On February 23 2011,I asked the Sierra Leone parliament to withdraw their honour of Ghaddaffi due to present events  happening in his country and the way he reacted on his own people.But to my dismay on reading an article on the AWOKO headlined "Speaker disregards Gaddafi's parliamentary honour"i realised the speaker of parliament justice Nathaniel Abel Stronge is deminising what happened on January 1,2009 in parliament,according to the article the speaker claimed it was just a proposal made by the former Majority Leader Hon. Eddie Turay of the ruling APC and the honour was not sacrosanct,although only the ones  who are in favour of the honour was asked the former leader said the "ayes"have it.The speaker with the help of the chief of protocol pinned the small flag on Ghaddaffi's chest which was called the badge of the Sierra Leone parliament.No one question the validity of the...

Couple of years ago the sierra leone Parliament give Muammar Ghaddaffi honorary member of parliament,a lot of sierra leoneans where surprise by their action even though before his arrival in Sierra Leone the civil society movement in a statement ask him to apologise to Sierra Leoneans for his support of is the (RUF) rebel group that committed crimes in the country,his defence was he supported freedom figthers like Mandela and the ANC,but that does not deter the Sierra Leone parliament to Honor him as a member of their chamber ignoring the what happened during the brutal war.with what is happening now in Libya,Ghaddaffi's action on his own people because they are asking for the same thing he supported his so called freedom figthers,the Sierra Leone parliament should withdraw the honor he received from them and the Koroma government should condemn his actions.

Carefully following events in Libya,you will know everything has its own time,come a time you will not think about the suffering of Libyans in the hands of colonel Qaddafi.He used to embrace Africans who were suffering under corrupt regime and even undermined their ouster mostly which lead to civil wars in most west African countries.He will be the first to recognise and even visit coup plotters.Now his people want the same freedom and justice he wanted for all the other countries his regime is using violence to intimidate them.Mr.colonel your time is over their is no turning back you want freedom and justice for other countries and your people want freedom and justice from you.
